Privacy Policy
1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and store it securely with Firebase Authentication. We also store your credit balance (a number) in Firestore to power the credit system. We do NOT collect, store, or retain any images you upload. All image processing happens transiently in memory and is discarded immediately after analysis.
2. How Images Are Processed
Images you upload are sent to our backend API hosted on Hugging Face Spaces for analysis. They are processed by OpenCV (face detection) and Groq's LLM API (age, gender, emotion, authenticity). No images are saved to any database, disk, or third-party storage at any point. The backend retains only anonymized metadata (number of faces, processing time) in a temporary in-memory session history.
3. Cookies & Analytics
FaceIQ uses Firebase Authentication which may set session cookies necessary for login. We use Google Firebase for authentication and Firestore for credit storage. Firebase may collect anonymized usage analytics per Google's privacy policies. We do not run any additional analytics or advertising trackers beyond what is necessary for the ad-based credit system (if enabled).
4. Advertising
FaceIQ uses a rewarded ad model where you can watch ads to earn credits. Ads may be served by third-party networks (e.g., Google AdSense, Monetag) which may use cookies and device identifiers per their own privacy policies. You can review Google's ad privacy settings at adssettings.google.com.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate FaceIQ: Firebase (Google) for authentication and database, Groq for LLM inference (images sent transiently, not stored), and Hugging Face for backend hosting. All providers are bound by their own privacy policies and GDPR/CCPA-compliant data processing agreements.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data (email, credit balance) at any time by contacting us at contact@xiyor.com. Since we do not store images, there is no image data to delete. Account deletion is processed within 30 days.
